 MOSELEY, WILLIAM WARD

MOSELEY, WILLIAM WARD

William Ward Moseley, a native of Lawrenceville, Virginia and currently living on Lake Gaston, Virginia and Naples, Florida, has been an active painter since his retirement from the practice of architecture in 1990.

Creating works of art in a realistic, impressionist style, Moseley is inspired by landscape scenery.  He developed his own style in watercolor, pastel, and oil, allowing expressiveness and flexibility with the vibrant use of color.  Moseley has been influenced by international artist Wolf Kahn, as well as nationally-known watercolorist Frank Web, among others.

Moseley received a B.S. Degree in Building Design at Virginia Tech University in 1951.  He has furthered his art career, receiving over 100 awards, including “BEST IN SHOW” for his works throughout the United States.  His work is in private and corporate collections throughout and he continues to show his work on the east coast.
