Biography:

Jeff Chase has been an artist representative for over twenty years as gallery owner and art dealer.
This self taught artist emerged from behind the canvas in 1998 to display his acrylic and mixed media paintings. Born in 1958 in New Hampshire, he began his artistic endeavors at the University of Connecticut where he studied photography. Chase’s talent and passion for art has been passed on by previous generations, as his mother and grandmother were both painters.
He paints what he sees around him, however, all of his paintings are done from memories and emotion derived from his experiences. “ I want my paintings to be interpretive and express something felt and not seen. I am not satisfied with simply replicating a landscape, figure, or still life. I must bring a new perspective that can be passed on to the viewer.”
