Jerry P. Cram, Sr. studied painting, drawing and sculpture at both the University of Miami, Florida and at Georgia State University for a combined period of seven (7) years.
Following his formal education in art, Mr. Cram entered the advertising business and in 1967 began a seventeen (17) year association with the Turner Advertising Corporation of Atlanta, Georgia. During that time Mr. Cram held executive positions in the creative department as well as advertising sales and sales management.
In 1984 Mr. Cram started his own Advertising Agency, Peachtree Advertising, Inc., and served for eighteen (18) years as President and Creative Director of that company.
In 2002 Mr. Cram and his wife retired to their log home, and his spacious studio, high in the mountains of western North Carolina, where, free from the daily requirements of his business, he has returned to his original interest in painting and other fine art pursuits.
Working in acrylic medium on canvas, Mr. Cram is presently involved in a series of paintings representing barns, buildings and other rural scenes in the vicinity of his North Carolina mountain home.
Mr. Cram and his wife also own a home in Mexico. He is currently represented by several galleries abroad and in the United States.
